JJ is a partner with LEK and has experience in financial audits, internal control, technical accounting advisory, financial due diligence and other diverse accounting services mainly for multi-national clients located in the United States and Korea such as LG, LS, Hyundai Motor, SK, Hanwha and Doosan groups.
JJ started his career with Deloitte and served various engagements related to audit, review, due diligence, valuation, internal control, tax services in Deloitte US & Korea for 12 years. He also served as a global accounting director of Coupang Inc (NYSE: CPNG) and a technical accounting & financial reporting director of Superior Essex Inc for 6 years. His background has built his balanced expertise in assurance and corporate finance under both public accounting and industry. He is confident with complicated accounting issues (i.e. business combination, impairment testing, joint venture investment, lease, revenue) under US GAAP & IFRS and advising implementation & audit of companies’ internal control.
