KT Kim is a Partner in LEK Partners and the Service Area Leader for the Firm’s Audit and Assurance. KT has more than 18 years of public accounting and auditing experience in planning and performing financial statement audits and audit related services for both private and public companies in the United States and South Korea. Prior to joining the Firm, KT worked at KPMG’s global offices including Seoul, Atlanta and New York for more than 15 years, where he provided U.S. GAAP and IFRS audit services as well as various types of assurance services (e.g. review, and agreed-upon procedures, etc.) primarily to Korean multi-national corporations. KT also has extensive experience of advisory consulting on technical accounting (revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, business combination, etc.), ICOFR (SOX) implementation and testing, IPO readiness, and IFRS conversion. He is licensed CPA in New York, New Jersey, Georgia and South Korea. Prior to KPMG, he served in Marine Corps in South Korea as a controller officer for three years.
